PYROS Brno 2025: Fire Fighting Equipment and Services Fair
PYROS is a specialised trade fair designed primarily for experts in the field of fire protection, integrated rescue system activities, health, and life and property protection.
This trade fair is a number one in the Czech Republic with a long tradition – its first season was held as early as 1972. Concurrently, the IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair and the ISET International Security Technology and Services Fair will be held. Thus, all components of the integrated rescue system will be presented in one place at the Brno Exhibition Centre.
The PYROS will take place on 4 days from Wednesday, 28. May to Saturday, 31. May 2025 in Brno.

Interest in security fairs has increased again:
The IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 28 to 30 May 2025, after a two-year interval. Alongside the PYROS and ISET trade fairs, it will showcase the latest advancements in security technology to professionals from around the globe.
Global brands and start-ups under one roof:
Returning exhibitors include Germany’s Rheinmetall, which was last presented in Brno in 2021, and this year will be showcasing its products on an area of 350 sqm. Overall, the participation from Germany will be stronger, with 15 companies already registered, including KNDS Group. The joint stand of Indian companies on an area of 150 sqm is also worth mentioning.
The Czech defence and security industry, headed by the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic, will also be extensively represented. Traditional exhibitors include companies such as Agados, Czechoslovak Group, Česká Zbrojovka, EVPÚ Defence, LOM Praha, STV Group, SAAB, Svos, Trade Fides and VOP. The Military Research Institute and the Brno University of Technology will also feature their displays here. New to the event this year will be the ContSystem company, which represents foreign manufacturers of special vehicles and means for handling heavy equipment.
Innovative companies from the fields of defence, security, aviation and aerospace will also be featured, with the aim of showcasing the potential of emerging companies and connecting them with larger partners.

New topics: Space Defence and 3D technology
With the development of new technologies, global security is becoming increasingly interconnected with space security, and this year’s IDET will focus on the security and defence aspects of activities in space and the use of space as an operational domain. The fair will also include the Space Defence & StartUp Hall, a platform to showcase the latest products and technologies from innovative companies in the field of space security.
The development of additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, has opened up entirely new design possibilities for the industry, and this year the highlighted theme of 3D technology will demonstrate for the first time how effectively the defence industry is using these innovations.
Cybersecurity, a perennial highlight of IDET, will be a prominent topic, along with the pressing issue of safeguarding sensitive information and critical infrastructure in the digital age.

The trade fair will once again feature a specialist extra programme and the Gold IDET Awards for the best exhibits.
