IMTEX Forming 2026: Event Profile
Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is pleased to announce the next edition of IMTEX FORMING – International Forming Technology Exhibition from 21-25 January 2026 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru. Concurrent shows Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing, and Weldexpo will be featured alongside IMTEX FORMING 2026.
Metal forming formed 24% of the total metalworking machine tool demand in India during the financial year 2023-24. The demand for metal forming machines would continue to grow with the growth of the Indian manufacturing sector covering various industries.
Technologies such as servo presses, CNC turret punching, fibre laser machines, precision levellers, pick and place units, machine production monitoring systems, 3D printing solutions, etc. are expected to be showcased. Die forging hammer technology, waterjet cutting technology, and compact drive technology would also be displayed.
IMTEX FORMING 2026 will not only cover technologies with further advancements but will also showcase reverse engineering solutions, friction welders, CNC press brakes and shears, metal scrap recycling, thermal cutting solutions, and so on. Robotics and automation, welding and joining, wire-forming and drawing, presses, die casting, hydroforming, sheet metal forming machines, presses for special applications, dies and moulds, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and elements, testing machines, etc. will also be on display.
IMTMA organizes IMTEX FORMING, Asia’s leading exhibition on metal forming and manufacturing technologies to augment the Indian machine tool industry’s growth. The last edition of IMTEX FORMING, held in 2024, was successful on many fronts. The exhibition concluded with:
