Tuyap decided to focus on trade fairs and opened the "Tuyap Istanbul Exhibition Palace" on 30th March, 1987 in Tepebaşı / Istanbul, thus continuing its expansion. In 1996, "Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center" was opened; a convention center with a modern infrastructure complying with international standards, an indispensable feature of a modern city. With recent investments in 2010, Tuyap added three new halls to the "Fair Convention and Congress Center" in Beylikdüzü, expanding its indoor exhibition space to 120.000 sqm and outdoor exhibition space to 25.000 sqm. With its 14 separate halls, the "Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center" is the largest and the only privately owned exhibition center in Turkey. The expansion process took place not only in Istanbul but also in other trade centers in Anatolia, especially after 2000. Tuyap went on to open exhibition centers in Bursa , Konya , Adana, Samsun and lastly Eskişehir.
