The Wastewater Management Authority has provided a budget of approximately USD 200 million for 48 construction and rehabilitation projects in the Wastewater Management Plan covering the next four years.

PRIVATE SECTOR

• Due to the Ministry of Industry Act, each factory must install a pre-treatment system prior to discharging wastewater into the main sewer.  To reduce investment cost, industries are looking for new water reuse systems. Commercial properties must also install wastewater treatment systems.  The result creates a very special business opportunity.
